Klenz Privacy Policy
Effective Date: September 5, 2026
Klenz is developed and operated by Kollossol Technologies, LLC (“Kollossol,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
This Privacy Policy explains how information is accessed, used, protected, retained, and disclosed when you use the Klenz application or communicate with Kollossol regarding Klenz.
Klenz is designed as a private, device-focused media utility. Its core functionality is intended to operate locally on your device.
1. Information Klenz Accesses
Klenz may request access to media stored on your device when necessary to provide its core functionality.
Depending on the media available on your device and the features you use, this may include:
- Photos and images;
- Video files;
- Audio files; and
- Media-related information such as file names, file types, timestamps, dimensions, duration, storage location, or similar metadata required to display, organize, or manage the media.
Access is limited to functionality provided by Klenz and permissions granted through your device or operating system.
Klenz does not require access to health information, contacts, precise location, messages, or other unrelated categories of personal information for its ordinary operation.
2. How Klenz Uses Device Media
Klenz may use media you authorize it to access to provide features such as:
- Displaying and reviewing media;
- Organizing or categorizing media;
- Navigating media through Klenz's user interface;
- Modifying supported media;
- Saving changes selected by the user; and
- Deleting or otherwise managing media when explicitly directed by the user.
These actions are initiated through your use of Klenz.
Klenz does not independently modify or delete your media for unrelated purposes.
Because certain actions may alter or remove files stored on your device, you are responsible for reviewing actions and confirmations presented by Klenz or your operating system before completing them.
3. Local Processing
Klenz is designed so that its core media functionality occurs locally on your device.
Kollossol does not receive copies of your photos, videos, audio files, or other device media merely because you access, review, organize, modify, or manage those files through Klenz.
Local media accessed by Klenz is not used by Kollossol for advertising, profiling, sale, or unrelated analytics.
Your device operating system may independently manage permissions, storage, backups, synchronization, or other device-level functionality according to settings and services you have enabled outside Klenz.
4. Information You Choose to Provide
You may voluntarily provide information to Kollossol when requesting support, reporting a problem, submitting feedback, or otherwise communicating with us.
This may include:
- Your name;
- Your email address;
- The contents of your message; and
- Screenshots, images, or other attachments you voluntarily submit.
Media submitted through a support request is separate from media Klenz accesses locally on your device.
Kollossol receives only the information you intentionally provide through these communications.
5. How We Use Information You Provide
Information submitted directly to Kollossol may be used to:
- Respond to support requests;
- Diagnose technical problems;
- Investigate security or privacy concerns;
- Improve Klenz;
- Maintain records reasonably necessary for operational or legal purposes; and
- Protect Kollossol, Klenz, our users, or others from fraud, abuse, or security threats.
We do not use support communications or submitted media for unrelated advertising or marketing profiles.
6. Sale and Sharing of Personal Information
Kollossol does not sell personal information obtained through Klenz.
We do not sell, rent, or trade the contents of your device media library.
Information may be disclosed to service providers only where reasonably necessary to operate supporting services such as website infrastructure, security, or email communications.
We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, legal process, enforce our rights, investigate misuse, or protect the security and safety of Kollossol, our services, or others.
7. Third-Party Services
The core Klenz media experience is designed to operate locally and does not require your personal media to be transferred to Kollossol's service providers.
Separate Kollossol services, including our website and support systems, may use third-party infrastructure providers.
Those providers may process limited information necessary to provide their respective services and may maintain operational or security records according to their own practices.
The privacy practices of services you independently use on your device—including operating-system backup, cloud-storage, photo-sync, or media-storage services—are governed by those services and not by Klenz.
8. Data Security
Kollossol uses reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to the nature of information under our control.
Klenz's local-processing design limits the amount of personal media that must be transmitted to or retained by Kollossol.
No software, device, storage system, or electronic communication method can guarantee absolute security.
You remain responsible for the security of your device, operating-system account, backups, and any third-party storage or synchronization services you choose to use.
9. Data Retention
Media accessed locally through Klenz remains subject to the storage and deletion behavior of your device and actions you take within the application.
Kollossol does not maintain a separate server-side copy of media merely because it was accessed through Klenz.
Information voluntarily provided to Kollossol, including support communications and attachments, is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, to satisfy legitimate operational or security requirements, or to comply with applicable legal obligations.
Third-party service providers may retain limited operational or security records according to their own practices.
10. Website Technologies, Cookies, and Security
Kollossol websites and support systems associated with Klenz may use limited technologies necessary for website functionality, security, abuse prevention, and communication.
These systems may process limited browser, device, and network information such as:
- IP address;
- User-agent information;
- Browser characteristics;
- Device or operating-system information; and
- Security signals used to distinguish legitimate, malicious, or abusive traffic.
This information may be processed by infrastructure or security providers used by Kollossol.
We do not use this information to access the personal media stored within Klenz on your device.
11. Your Choices and Controls
You control Klenz's access to device media through the permissions and controls provided by your operating system.
You may revoke applicable permissions through your device settings.
Doing so may prevent some Klenz features from functioning.
You may also contact Kollossol regarding personal information that you have directly provided to us and request access, correction, or deletion where applicable.
Deleting Klenz from your device does not necessarily delete media that Klenz previously modified or saved because those files may remain within device storage under the control of your operating system.
12. Privacy Rights
Depending on where you reside, applicable law may provide rights regarding personal information held by Kollossol, including rights to:
- Request access to personal information;
- Request correction of inaccurate information;
- Request deletion;
- Request a portable copy of certain information;
- Restrict or object to certain processing; or
- Exercise other privacy rights provided by applicable law.
Because Klenz's core media processing occurs locally, Kollossol generally cannot provide, retrieve, or delete media that we never received from your device.
Requests concerning information actually held by Kollossol may be submitted using the contact information below.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.
13. Children's Privacy
Klenz is not directed toward children under 13.
Kollossol does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through Klenz.
If we learn that personal information from a child has been provided to us contrary to applicable law, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
14. International Users
If information is voluntarily submitted to Kollossol from outside the United States, it may be processed or stored in the United States or other locations where our service providers operate.
Where applicable, Kollossol will process personal information in accordance with relevant privacy and data-protection requirements.
15. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when Klenz's functionality, data practices, legal obligations, or supporting services change.
Material changes will be reflected in the policy available through Klenz or the applicable Kollossol website.
The effective date above identifies when this Privacy Policy became effective.
